"The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. The shower water pressure was also very poor. Finally, I had early starts on both mornings, and the fire alarm went off in my bedroom due to "steam" from the bathroom. "Lovely hotel near the airport. Clean, tidy, sufficient for our needs. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Despite being near the hotel it was pleasantly really quiet and peaceful. I could not hear the planes at all. I would highly recommend. The price of room was reasonable in comparison to others in the area. The parking was at the back of the hotel and easy to use. I think this will improve once the works at the front of the hotel are completed. We ordered pizza and chips at the bar...

"Could just cope for one night. It’s extremely dated, the heating was an old electric heater and didn’t really heat the room well, I was freezing and had to put layers on for bed because the duvet was very thin too. The room must have had a dog in previously, I had a really bad allergy reaction my eyes and nose were streaming and when I put my leggings on I had dog hairs all over them. The bathroom was nice but had a huge stain in the sink and some of the pipe boxing was falling off. The food...

"Parking very easy till we booked in and were asked to pay £14, this was not mentioned on the hotel advert with Expedia nor on the email confirming the booking. After some debate with reception the guy borrowed our phone to show us where it was, not under this hotel but scrolled down another half dozen pages and showed us it the parking charges in the general terms and conditions, while scrolling saw the booking charge had dropped by £20, so suggested they took the parking charge out of this,...

"Good value hotel, rooms a little dated but clean. Free parking and good sized car park. A few minutes walk to some other bars and restaurants. A great little village with coffee bars, supermarket etc. A great stopover for manchester airport. Definitely worth a visit."

"Breakfast was fine. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Very disappointed that we were not advised in advance there would be major building construction at the hotel. More so right outside our window. In addition to having carpentry work on the doors with tools blocking the corridor inside. A strange phenomenon was the toilet. My wife and I both disabled found it near impossible to flush the toilet. The flushing button was difficult to access and use especially at night. "
