"The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, Wonderful location and views are breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast buffet is good but not awesome . Same with the dinner. Room service was a bit slow and the soup arrived ice cold. Other than those two negatives, I’d definitely stay here again."

"The original building is stunning and a walk into the past. It is filled with antiques and other beautiful ornamentation. However, The new wing of the hotel where most guests stay , is now 25 years old. It is in need of refurbishment. Still, the rooms are large, clean, with lovely traditional furnishings. "This was our favorite stay in Portugal. I will start by saying, if you dont enjoy kids, don't stay here. This is a family property. We are retirees who actually enjoy hearing kids play; others don't. This was the perfect location for us. The ocean before you, a short walk to town, beauty all around. The included breakfast was great! We enjoyed the pool and everything else about this property. Highly recommend."

"Perfect location. Hotel is very clean and modern. Rooms were very comfortable and considering we were on a very busy main road you could hardly hear any traffic. We made good use of the rooftop pool, although it can get it a bit busy. This could be due to the heatwave at the time.
