Located in Aberfeldy, Fernbank House is in a rural area. Temple Gallery and The Scottish Crannog Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Wade's Bridge and Castle Menzies. Bolfracks Garden and Canyoning Scotland are also worth visiting. Be sure not to miss outdoor adventures like horse riding and hiking/biking trails.
Tina and Fiona do a wonderful job of serving guests at Fernbank House with lovely guest rooms and a homemade breakfast fit for kings and queens. Aberfeldy is a beautiful village with lots of things to see and Tina answers any questions you may have. She offers private yoga lessons too! Highly recommend this place.
We really enjoyed our stay. The Moness room was spacious and lovely, as was the ensuite, with unlimited piping hot water. We had a lovely big bay window and lots of complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. The bed was extremely comfortable and you could enjoy just spending time in the room in the evenings. The breakfast was great and we also had a nice Hogmanay dinner cooked by our hosts. Tina is a yoga teacher and we had a wonderful morning class in a specially designated room which was a very relaxing space. We also enjoyed the small garden sauna which is great after a long walk. Would recommend.
I have stayed at Fernbank House on a couple of occasions. It is in a great location to explore Loch Tay and the Dunkeld - Pitlochry - Blair Atholl area, and parking is easy. Tina is a lovely host and there is a good choice of healthy and unhealthy breakfasts!
Lovely B&B with comfortable rooms and plenty of space. Lovely and clean and although there is a no shoes policy the owner provides slippers which is a lovely touch. Breakfast was lovely too with plenty of choice and freshly made.
