"Lovely location, peaceful atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable had all you needed for your stay. Lovely big bath towels!
Breakfast was ok, could improve, scrambled eggs not good being kept warm, not much choice on the continental side.
We didn’t use the bar but was told we could take drinks and food to the room if wanted.
Would definitely stay here again. "

"The Walnut Tree is the finest example of a superb family-run hotel and has the highest standards across all its services. I received a lovely welcome at check-in and was shown to my room (rather than being directed) and given a summary of services and mealtimes.
I was there for 3 nights and had dinner on 2 of them. Credit to the team of chefs for beautiful food and a well thought menu.
Parking is plentiful and felt secure and despite my room facing a busy road, it was quiet and comfortable and...
