"We had seen this spot a couple of years back when driving through Kinston, and we finally made a weekend trip to stay. This motor lodge is a dream. The front staff was wonderful and kind, they sell their local beer right there, they have popcorn in the lobby and had cookies fresh baked when we arrived, and they have a cute little breakfast nook. "My family and I went for my sons’s college graduation @ ECU. Thank you for having an area with a photo backdrop for the graduates. I reserved two king rooms and requested a rollaway bed which was waiting for us when we arrived. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Snacks by the lounge were a little pricey. We did enjoy family time by the fire pits in the courtyard as well as the onsite restaurant and bar. "
