"Went in May. Bunk was warm but not unbearable, although had no need for the quilt. I found the mattress quite comfortable, and although the compartment was small I was able to move around inside comfortably. Noise does travel easily between adjacent compartments for those easily disturbed. I fear that on one heavy-drinking night I may have been the snoring disturbance, so bear this in mind. "This place was amazing. Way better than I thought it would be. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Only few things I didn't like were the laundry facilities and microwave would have been nice in both buildings and not just the main one. Also the bathroom smelled a slight bit of urine and lastly I wished the staff spoke more fluent English. The on site restaurants were very sub par. Otherwise this place was nearly perfect. I would still come and stay here again. Hopefully I will have learned more Japanese by then"
