This has been the most dirty place I ever seen. I tried to book in another hotel the same day that I arrived but all were booked so I went to Walmart and bought my own towels and sheets since the ones from the hotel were stained and dirty. I changed rooms and same issue happened. The personal from the hotel were nice though. They said the new owner is repairing it but I don’t think it’s fair to have the hotel available and with good pictures that make you think that it’s a good place for the public if the place is such a mess. My toilet didn’t flush, the mini fridge didn’t worked, the curtains and sheets and towels were dirty. The smell were awful like very old or moldy. I didn’t have a good experience… I felt unsafe

There was still used soap in the shower and trash in the nightstand.. I’m assuming with location the sand that was still on the floors is inevitable to happen so that is understandable! Place could definitely use an update

This being an older property, I didn’t realize the conditions it was in. Respect to the Hotel Staff they did a great job! Overheard that the place is renovating, but it needs a lot taking care of.

Morning staff was very rude and not friendly. No coffee maker, no free breakfast, ac didnt work in room had to switch rooms. Phone didnt have a cord. No tv remote . Beds were old and hard. Mirrors were so dirty you couldn't see in them. No plugins next to bed. Stove hadnt been properly cleaned. Only one spoon, knife and fork.

The air conditioning unit was broken so they put a portable AC unit in the room. But the drain line and the exhaust from the unit had to go outside so you were unable to close the sliding glass door. Plus the AC unit was not even close to powerful enough to cool the room during the heat of the day. The pictures on Expedia’s site make the property look MUCH better than reality. Reality is that it’s a pretty run down beach property that is worth NOWHERE NEAR $350 per night. Maybe $200 per night. I feel like we got duped by the pictures versus reality. But the barely functional portable AC unit and not being able to secure and lock my sliding glass door was the real problem.

So sorry Charles. We are replacing the AC units and the company sent the wrong ones. We have/are correcting this issue. It is true, the old owners have neglected the hotel but the new owners are in the process of renovations. Can not wait for you to see when all done!

The hotel is pretty dirty in general. The paint is chipping off the walls. We had a bed bug issue in our room. Didn’t know until we got up the next morning being bitten up with bed bug bites.

This is by far the dirtiest, most run down “hotel” I have ever been to. You can’t even call it a hotel. Maybe a motel…but a terrible one. We literally had bugs in our room. The sofa was stained and torn. There was peeled paint, dirty mirrors, molded shower curtains. I am not kidding. And it was more than $400. The absolute only thing this location had to offer is the location. It is right on the beach…but so are dozens of other locations. Too bad we waited until 30 days before our concert we were attending to book the hotel, so we had limited options. Grateful for a bed I guess…as long as my family doesn’t bring home bed bugs or develop some sort of rash.

Expedia limits the character count of their reviews, so you can find my full review with images on Google. This motel paints itself as a resort, but don't be fooled, half of the amenities they claim to have don't exist. The property is old, rundown, and extremely dirty. Parking is EXTREMELY limited - even between initial and overflow parking lots. The room followed suit being small, old, and dirty. The tile floor had a grimy feel. The lamp bases and bathroom light fixture were all rusted. One of the lampshades was stained and later we realized it also had moldy spots along the top. The air conditioning didn't work - it was set at 64ºF to quickly cool off the room, but it never cooled down at all, so we left it set at that temp the whole time. Housekeeping says it comes daily, but never showed up. As I checked out, I told my complaints to the lady at the counter who said there wasn’t really anything they would do anyways. She said she would leave a message for the manager, but as of now, I have not been contacted by anyone. Additionally, they're supposed to have a self-serve breakfast in their lobby, but when I went to checkout (within the breakfast hours) there wasn't anything set out. The only redeeming part about our stay was the ocean view (that we paid extra to have), but to charge a premium cost for the pitiful quality of everything else is beyond ridiculous ($300 for 2 nights at an already discounted rate through Expedia).

Upon arrival i dropped belongings off to the room and left for food. When i get back i notice a small puddle of water on the floor coming from another puddle that was dripping from the couch. (The AC unit was on the top portion of the wall above the couch... the couch where i set my bag with all belongings in it. Needless to say my entire bag and all clothes for the weekend were soaked, couch and floor soaked... AC frozen so not cooling anything down. I try to call the front desk and my room phone doesnt work at all. Finally called on my cell phone and they say maintenance wont be back on tbe property until 11am the next day. It gets worse... i try to turn the tv to make the best of it, NOPE completely broken as well. So first night in i slept with my sliding glass door open because we had no AC.. the ENTIRETY of the floor space was a puddle by the time we woke up, all of my clothes were soaked leaving me nothing to wear and having to buy clothes i didnt need. TV Wouldn't even turn on. Couldn't call the office for any reason because room phone doesnt work. Oh and their version of breakfast included meant theyll bring you a literal grocery bag and drop it at your door. Its the day after i checked out and still cant seem to get ahold of the manager Laurie, shes conveniently off property or "in a meeting"

Absolute dump of a motel even by beach motel standards. This property needs so much work. The rooms are barely considered "clean", if you count having to exterminate 2 roaches. Broken lamps, poor lighting, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful, doing what they can with what they have. On the bright side, the pool is decent and the beach access is spectacular. Overall the vibe of the property is very family friendly and aside from the depressing nature of the structure, a great place for families. Definitely a hard pass for next time unless they undergo MASSIVE renovations. We even checked out a day early, we at least got to use that day for beach access, clean up, etc. One night was more than enough. Look elsewhere until you see rave reviews that they gutted the place and sunk about $10 million into it. Its a historic property, it deserves much better!!!

The pictures look nothing like the property itself. When we walked in, there was mold on the bedding, a thick sour orange liquid that coated the inside of the microwave, roaches everywhere, the toilet seat was broken, there was dust balls all over the walls and ceiling, and the floors were covered in what liked like maybe 2 week old dirt. When we went to complain about the state of the room, we were given Clorox wipes and a cloth and told to wipe it ourselves. The next day, we went back down stairs and the staff were very rude and claimed they had went back up and cleaned it but when we walked into the room, the only thing that was different was a strong chemical smell. I wish I could attach pictures. Also, pool hours are from 8am-9pm and when we went to the pool today at 9am, we were told that we could not enter as the had just put chemicals into it. Why would they not have done that sooner? Just overall, very very disappointed.

I called in advance yesterday afternoon since I was going to be there later in the evening, the associate I spoke with assured me that someone would be there so I could check in. I showed up and the office was closed, I reserved an oceanfront view room but after I got my keys and walked to the room and the keys didn’t work, the manager walked over and opened the door only to find it hadn’t been cleaned. I got put into a room that wasn’t oceanfront like I had reserved (wouldn’t have minded it if it hadn’t have been more expensive) in terms of the state of the room…I’ve stayed in barracks rooms that were nicer in Afghanistan, the desk in the corner was held together by tape, it smelled like dirty mike and the boys had been there for a week, and it definitely was not clean. I paid $230 for two nights and I’m not exactly happy about paying that much for staying in something that raggedy. I recommend finding somewhere to stay.

Great area with good beaches and I can't say for other hotels but I'm sure their a little bit better as far as being updated. The best description, I can come up with for this place is a dive hotel. It's got a dive bar feel in a hotel.

I don’t even know where to start! We were given room 203 upon checkin, get to our room it was 88 inside, AC showed it was on and set to 65. It was EXTREMELY hot and muggy to the point the beds were wet and there was sweat on the walls. We waited 30 mins for it to cool off, it didnt. I played with the AC, and it showed PO. Went to front desk, she called maintenance said he’ll be here in a few. 20 minutes after not hearing back, I went to the lobby, she said sorry but this room has been scheduled for maintenance. We have on room available but its just for tonight(we had booked 4 nights). She switched us to 225, and told us to come back in the morning for our new room. Went to the desk at 8am to see what room we were being moved to, front desk lady (shannon) was extremely rude and said well sucks for you cause theres no rooms youll have to find another hotel. (I have recordings of this). So now were stuck in florida, needing a room to get ready as we have a wedding to be at later that day. They made us leave by 11am, no apologies or anything. Also, when we got to our new room our toilet was clogged and we called for maintenance, no one showed up, next morning i went back to front desk about it, and maintenance still never showed up! Do not stay here!!! It is run down & staff is HORRIBLE

First was broken elevator for third floor unit. The room conditions were visibly moldy shower curtain. Sand on mattress. Weird tape left on walls. Beat up furniture.no coffee maker but coffee. Asked for one and absolutely none available. No hot water when trying to use as too many others had already used and had to wait for water to get hot again for 45 minutes. Deteriorating outside building and unsightly. Would never book or stay again. Should have paid me to stay. Horrible. Go to the lotus boutique.

This property is in great need of improvement. Old and pretty much a flea bag hotel. Elevator was very unsafe and we were trapped for 30 minutes inside of it with no air conditioning and no air circulation. Smoke detector in room didn’t work. AC in room didn’t work. Pillows on bed were very old. Dirty in corners of room and the place should be redone totally. Breakfast consisted of a paper bag with a granola bar, mini muffin and mandarin orange. NEVER will stay here again.

My biggest issue at this property is the smell in the room. I’ve used the property before during bike week 2023. My room smelled the same way. It’s like wet mildew odor throughout the entire room. We always have to keep the balcony door open. The bathroom toilet is always loose & shakes form the base. The tub/ shower controls are loose. The only think that keeps me coming back is the parking lot across the street. It’s large enough for us to park our trucks & trailers during our stay. I also don’t like the fact that no housekeeping came to clean the room all week. I had to go to the front desk & get fresh towels & wash clothes every few days. Big inconvenience.

So sorry Mr. Morris you did not enjoy your stay. Don't know what your smelling, the rooms are not mildewed. The building is old and is being renovated with the new owners. Staff is hard to get since Covid. So again, apologies your room was not serviced. Hopefully your next stay will be more pleasant.

It was perfect for a quick trip including my 2 dogs. It is located directly on the dog friendly section if the beach, which was great. It's not a fancy place, but staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. Would stay afain.

Parts of it are a little run down but there was a lot of work going on to improve it. Good location and it’s nice that it’s pet friendly and in the pet friendly portion of the beach.
