Even though there isn’t a beach to relax on, chairs and tables along the shoreline allow beautiful and relaxing views, especially at sunset. You can sit by the pool, in the gardens, or on the bar deck next to the shore. Easy walk to a few shops, bars and restaurants. Pleasant breakfast too. "

"Great location and beach. Had the paradise villa which was very nice in 5106, however they need to trim the big tree out front as you could not see the sea which was a real bummer. Charged me for a premium room but not much of a view, I’m sure they would not use that room for advertising. "

Hotellet ligger på ett enskilt och lugnt läge men en kort taxiresa bort fanns mysiga barer och restauranger för den som önskar detta. "Pen was phenomenal. English-speaking and very helpful getting taxis and answering questions. Pen made our stay wonderful. This is a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere, which was just the getaway we were looking for. We did get a taxi to White Sand Beach one day and I was glad we didn’t stay there because it was too touristy. At night at Parama, all you can hear are birds and frogs. Paradise. "

"Had a great stay here for a week in one of the deluxe bungalows, lovely beach, resort itself could do with a spruce up but it didn’t affect our stay. Bungalow was excellent. Breakfast was decent with lots of choice. Could do with a few more chairs and loungers around the pool and beachfront. Would stay again."

"Vi havde et fantastisk ophold hos Ban Mae Resort. Vores bungalow var stor med både soveværelse, bagagerum, badeværelse og terrasse. Stedet ligger langt fra touristresorterne på øens vestside, men servicen var i top! Der er fantastisk natur, dyreliv og en lille kiosk ved vejen. Vi kunne leje kanoer og padle til fine sandstrande, vi stort set havde for os selv. Maden var god. "The Resort is rundown, not maintained at all. Poor service, no restaurant or bar. The bathroom was not clean (hair in shower, tampon in bin), the towels are yellow/brownish although they were supposed to be white. Dogs and their excrements all over the place/beach. No TV, only DVD rental. The wood planks around the pool urgently need renovation."
