"The first room we were offered was open and hadn't been cleaned. The second room was fine. There was a healthy crop of weeds in the parking lot. Ocean Shores looks a bit like a tired relic of an old-fashioned resort from decades past. It's attempting to bring itself up to date, but has a long way to go. "

"It appears that the hotel is in transition. The room was clean and very comfortable had everything we needed and was as advertised. Breakfast was good. The hotel is walking distance to the beach which was really nice. However there was no elevator service and no estimated repair date (the hotel has 4 floors), the pool and hot tub were out of service should be operational in near future, there are repairs being done all over the hotel. "We chose to stay at the Adrift for my 50th birthday. The location is perfect and the staff are so lovely. As an avid dog lover, I appreciated how amazingly dog friendly this hotel is, but if you are not a dog lover, stay somewhere else. Some of the rooms were a bit worse for wear (scratches on the door, likely from an unhappy dog) and my friends said they could hear their upstairs neighbors. The restaurant is really good, although the drinks were pricey. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy...

"We love all the amenities!! So many to choose from and all kid friendly. Kid zone with Foosball, pingpong, mini arcade and so many games and puzzles. There's a GREAT outdoor park for guests with basketball court, volleyball, kiddie playground and frisbee golf!! There is also a pool, the spa was out of order but all time other amenities made up for it. We would highly recommend. The rooms and beds are clean and comfy. Great helpful staff!"
