I really liked the location, it was an older hotel, that showed, the staff was very helpful, that was great. The on-site restaurant was closed, that was a bummer. But overall a good stay.

The staff was accommodating to the best of there abilities, but the place unfortunately is going down. Called ahead to make sure jacuzzi and pool working , for the kids and adults to be able to relax and enjoy . Of course chlorine did not come in, so down for gosh darn who knows how long , heat not working in room , finally warmed up @ 3am in morning . Remote did not work , they had no batteries , so staff gave us there universal remote for the evening . No washcloths , or enough towels but we waited and they washed for us . Only 6 cars in whole parking lot ! Window had mold around the room , and bottom of back door . Green wet thick mold, at that . Checked out by 8 am and got good room at Caterbury . Shilo should not be booking rooms until they get that place cleaned up

The best par was having the top floor room for a nice sun set and sun rise that was about it. the staff was nice and helpful but they can only do so much with what they have, upper management has failed to manage this property is probably do to budget issues.

Just needs a facelift. Spacious room, more like a suite, quiet, ocean view from the deck. Shopping within walking distance, staff was welcoming and friendly, a perfect place to rejuvenate a tired soul.

Great beach view and short walk to the beach. The room wasnt that clean. No tissues or extras that come with a nice room. TP was horrible. The restaurant, pool, fitness room were closed down. Really disappointed in the Shilo Inn it used to be a Fancy hotel and it definitely is not anymore.. The Newport Shilo is even worse if possible.

Very beautiful location! View from the room is so amazing! The room is spacious and quiet. Their propane is not working so no hot water but they let us know in advance. The front desk lady Autumn wasn’t at her best with me when we first arrived but upon later interactions she was trying harder to be nice and helpful.

The staff were courteous and helpful but the property was run down and amenities were not as advertised on the web. It’s clear the area has been on hard times, but this needs to be realistically noted in the website. I don’t fault the staff! I fault the owners for substandard maintenance and inaccurate web listing and information! I would find another property in the area.

We had a wonderful view of the ocean. The kitchen area was very nice with a gas fireplace. The only downside was we couldn't figure out the heating system and the mattresses could probably be replaced in the near future. The room itself was very nice with 2 queen beds.

I really liked the Shilo Inn. The room was clean and big and had a half divider between the bed area and the dining/living area. Also, there was a sink in the large bathroom as well as a (bathroom) sink with a lot of counter space! It is a large facility and someday I hope it can be what it used to, full of life with the restaurants open. I would definitely go there again!

Restaurant was closed, pool and hot tub was closed, our room had no towels, no cups and no coffee. To top it off, my son (who’s in a power wheelchair) and I got stuck in elevator and had to use phone in elevator. Then they called back and stated they were told we got out of elevator. I told her we didn’t get out of elegant then staff got us down. Staff said someone earlier got stuck and did get out. It’s a huge hotel and we were told there was only 1 elevator. Staff was nice and it wasn’t her fault but very poor facility from last time I stayed there years ago.

Let’s start with the good. The location is probably the best at Ocean Shores for beach access. Literally walk to the beach within minutes. The pool is saltwater not chlorine and is in overall good shape. Pool is heated and hot tub works too which apparently is not a given for the hotels in Ocean Shores. Very outdated and run down. We had an ocean view but couldn't see out the filthy windows covered in bird poop. No amenities. Had to get towels from front desk. No coffee. Will never stay there again.
