"This was probably one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced in Panama. I think the hotel itself is a part of a large chain, but it did not have the plain and sterile ambience of current large hotel chains. We had a suite overlooking the beautiful garden and facing a mountain. The suite itself has very high ceilings, maybe 15 or 20 feet which made the already large suite feel even larger. "Bambuda is fantastic. The location is excellent with breathtaking views of the mountains & countryside. The food in the restaurant is excellent & there are numerous options at all times of the day. The service at the front desk & at the restaurant are prefect: helpful, friendly, & enthusiastic. Taxi rides from the hotel to a variety of destinations are easy to get & inexpensive. I had a cabin with a balcony. It felt like a cabin in the mountains but with strong hot water in the shower. "
