"This is a good, clean place to stay at a reasonable price. Small room but clean and quiet. We would stay again. If you want the shuttle service, set up in advance. It is expensive but efficient and safe. "

"The Bannister Hotel is very conveniently situated for access to Witwatersrand University, where I was doing some research in archives. On arrival, my first impression was discouraging because of people hanging around outside, but the room was good and comfortable and I settled in well. Overall I enjoyed my stay. The "Bannister Breakfast" is very adequate and nicely cooked and served. I had my evening meals in. The bar/restaurant can be quite noisy, but I adjusted to that. The food was good and...

Les grandes et les petits on trouvé leur place, même dans le tuk tuk auprès de madi pour faire un tour de quartier! venez y c'est génial !!"

"Not so good as they didn't even accommodate us. They indicated that they don't use Hotels for bookings. I stated arguing even after showing them proof of payment they just refused to accommodate us. I will appreciate to be refunded as I experienced such experience for the first time in my life. "

"I arrived after midnight and found staff in pajamas sleeping. They had no clue about my reservation even though it was booked 2 weeks ahead of time. I had to find my booking confirmation and show credit card statement of payment. Then i was walked through a dark alley to what could be otherwise considered the "boys quaters". My taxi driver was so scared of leaving me all alone and stayed until i got into my room. It was an ok room, sofa , tv, bed,bathrom, kitchen. I could smell the dust even...

"Lovely reserve with lots of game and great driving and hiking trails. The Chalets are cozy and basic but are more than adequate for a weekend stay. Will definitely go again"

"The BnB was convenient for our needs, comfortable and host Sonny was fantastic, if we ever have a need to go back that side of Johannesburg we will stay there again. just a heads up driveway is a bit steep for very low vehicles but with some practice can be negotiated okay."
