Everything was fine with me

We were greeted with very friendly staff.Their service and hospitality was beyond our expectation.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I found my self in need of a hotel half way through my trip and opted for this one. As a solo traveler, I felt incredibly safe and the hotel was lovely and peaceful. There is access to the sea at the bottom and the hotel and that’s pretty much where I ended up most days on the sun beds. Staff were lovely, especially Sara, she goes Above and beyond her duties. After a long 21hr journey we got to the hotel a few hours before check in time. Seeing that we were tired the hotel staff offered complimentary breakfast while they prepared our room. One of the best things about the hotel are the helpful and very friendly staff. Rooms were clean, spacious, although a couple of minor teething problems as the hotel only opened 3 weeks ago. The staff more than made up for this though. Wonderful relaxing resort set in beautiful gardens. Very welcoming friendly staff. Excellent food with much variety. Once a week there is a fantastic barbecue served along with a local band playing for everyone to learn some local dances. The bungalows are very most comfortable and very private. There is a wonderful jetty at the beach where you can sit and watch the sunset. Private dining is also available at the jetty or beach. Lovely hotel for couples especially honeymooners.

Treetop by Eight Continents Zanzibar exceeded all our expectations. It is an excellent choice for solo travellers, couples and families, and in my opinion, this resort is seriously underrated. Very beautiful location and near most things. Although dissapointed the free shuttle bus was only running at 9am and back at 1pm. The hotel advertises that there is one at 2pm which is not true. Which meant getting a taxi there and back was very expensive $30 each way and stonetown. is a must for afternoon and evening. But the staff are super friendly a the rooms lovely as is the pools etc would recommend

The customer service at this Hotel is second to none. I am particularly impressed with the food and Beverages Manager Mr Kalei. He is very hardworking and is on top of everything. This is a lovely quiet each front hotel, we stepped from our door onto the sand. Roo.s are good and the staff were wonderful! We stayed in four hotels in zanzibar, the staff here are exceptional, very attentive and friendly. Hotel even supprised us with a free trip to the 'rock resaurant' and star fish beach! We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Zanzibar and would highly recommend it, especially for families or anyone looking for a relaxed break rather than the more touristy feel of some of the other beaches and resorts. The hotel is beautifully located close to the beach, with each room being very spacious and easily accessible. The breakfast buffet is vast and really good with crepes and omelettes made to order! We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. Ingredients and dishes were varied and akin to fine dining. Resort felt very private although effectively right on the beach....

The hotel is very big yet beautiful. The rooms are spacious and we were pleased to find a hairdryer in the bathroom. Evening entertainment was great but also easily avoided if required. We also enjoyed the selection of pools and meals on offer! Would highly recommend this hotel.
