Manda Heritage Hotel

"Hotel was great, breakfast was excellent. Good size room, very quiet and close to everything we wanted to see and do. Staff were excellent very friendly, professional. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again. One Note: We used this link on their confirmation email to book transportation from the airport to the hotel Hotel Manda experiences - everything was confirmed. We missed our connection to Zagreb and tried to change the pick-up from 9AM TO 2PM. It was nightmare - Hotel staff were very helpful and stayed in touch with us. Unfortunately the taxi company didn’t meet us at the airport ( after saying they would ) and we paid again for another taxi with a different company to take us to the hotel. I would not recommend using them at all. Not a great start to our vacation and not a good first impression of Zagreb."

"This is a consummately elegant, historic hotel impeccably maintained and finished. Linens and toiletries are luxe. Furniture is traditional but plush. Every carpet, every bit of grout, and every table surface is clean. Breakfast was similarly elegant and worth the cost. Gym very well equipped. Location nearly perfect for sightseeing and quiet rest. My only criticism is that customer service was not high-touch, which seasoned travelers now expect from 5-star hotels. Registration was lined up upon arrival, with no one coming over to help two strapped agents. Multiple doormen stood at front with no one opening a door, greeting guests or offering directions."

"It may not be the most modern hotel but I had a great stay at Sheraton Zagreb. Very easy to walk or get Ubers everywhere. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit run down. The hotel features the best hotel gym I’ve ever been to, this gym actually has a monthly membership (free for hotel guests) so it’s fully equipped with all kinds of machines. You can even take reformer Pilates classes. The spa is very nice too. I enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet with so many different options. The Italian restaurant Tomassino is also fab."
