"Everything was amazing but would have liked a smart TV for streaming."
Thistle London Heathrow Terminal 5

"The hotel is some way from Heathrow Terminal 5. The booking said to take the Heathrow pod, which we assumed would be signed in the terminal. Unable to find any signs/directions, we asked a man in a high-viz jacket. He gave us directions to "the parking pod" which turned out to be the correct place. The pods were supposed to take 4 people each with luggage. Our daughter got in one pod with her bags and the doors of the pod shut and it went off, ignoring the buttons she pressed. We followed in the next pod and met up with her in the middle of a parking lot. I spotted a sign on a fence for the hotel. There was a gate in the fence which was locked and a sign saying we would be charge 8pounds75 each for having taken the pod. We pushed the intercom for the hotel and the gate was opened and we made our way to the hotel. We were not asked for extra money for the pod ride, so perhaps the amount was included in the room rate. (Not pleasant though, to be locked in a car park after a scary pod ride and met with an unexpected demand for what was a lot of money considering the short, rackety ride in the pod.)"

"The staff were fantastic - from the lady who helped us to check in to the girl who was front of house in the bar / restaurant and the girl on reception then lifeguard duty at the swimming pool - all helpful smiley and welcoming - great customer service. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere overall and the rooms were spacious, clean and nice. Great value too. Would def stay again and would highly recommend to others"

Aerotel London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2-3
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is an excellent choice especially if you arrive late into LHR and don’t want to deal with the buses which ferry you to hotels just outside the airport. It’s located just the other side of customs. You cannot have it easier than that. We have stayed here three times. The rooms are always clean and modern. They are on the smaller side compared to American hotel rooms but that’s normal over this side of the pond. The people at reception were friendly, polite and helpful. That’s been the case each time we booked here. Makes a change from a lot of chain hotels! Shower/bathroom was good. Air conditioning sort of works 18c being the lowest temperature."

Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor

"I stayed for one night during half term with my 10 year old. Staff were extremely friendly, greeting us and taking time for a chat with my son at check in and check out. Check-in, breakfast etc went smoothly and my son particularly loved the pancake machine! Our room was clean and had everything needed. Parking is under the hotel so very convenient."
