"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but very small. We started the trip here and didn't have much luggage, but by the end, we had more, and it wouldn't have fit in that room. There are shared bathrooms and showers, so make sure you book the correct room. We booked a room with a private bathroom, and it’s small but comfortable. The machines wash and dry and only take 100 yen coins. You can only put a very small amount of clothes inside, and it will take about 2 hours. The hotel provides pj’s, bath towels, Q-tips, etc., so you don’t have to pack much."

"It was a spacious hotel considering for Tokyo. Really enjoyed the amenities they provided. The laundry was helpful near by. But the dryer was not the greatest. The location is close to many convenience stores and metro lines and the zoo and park. However, the back of the hotel is along the entertainment district so it felt a little uneasy walking by with kids at 8-9pm. Daytime was fine."

"While the staff tried to be helpful and the location is very convenient, this experience was disappointing. Of all the times I have stayed there, I found it extremely loud with doors slammed all through the night and loud talking. "

"+ Staff is friendly and helpful. + On-site washer/dryer is convenient. + On-site Lawson is convenient. + Bed is comfortable (not too firm, not too soft) - Bedroom (at least the corner ones with a queen-sized bed) are cramped. There is barely any clearance when you open the door. - Carpets are dirty; inside the room, hallways, by the elevator. Feels like it hasn't been deep cleaned in years. Going barefoot made my skin crawl. Visible dust. You'll kick up dust. When I'm in the room, I cough. I'm fine outside. - Bathrooms are very small. I'm of average height and weight and yet still struggle in there. The height from floor to ceiling is probably 6 ft. - Elevators take a long time. - Buffet is below average."

"It’s right by the nippori station so that in itself is a big plus. The rooms are on the smaller end but very much doable for a party of two in one bed, and especially for a solo traveler. Laundry is on the second floor and very easy to use. Also, never had the breakfast buffet but it is a traditional Japanese breakfast and not an American one, which is great for those looking for that. Nippori itself is a lively city, with a quiet and calmer neighborhood to the right of the hotel, and plenty of restaurants, cafe’s, and activities to the left. I personally enjoyed the quick and easy access to the area, and the quick walk to Familymart and the station. Staff was as friendly as can be, and I recommend this place for those on a budget! It’s a few stops from Ueno and akihabara and Tokyo station on the JR line, which means a great ability to move anywhere Definitely recommend"
