"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). We arrived past midnight on our first day because of a delayed flight and the staff, especially Dino, was so welcoming and helpful, which was a great start to our stay. "Very good and family friendly experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, overall an excellent stay. The only complaint would be that dinner at 2 of the 4 restaurants felt a little like a conveyor belt where the priority seemed to be getting us fed and out as quickly as possible rather than having us enjoy the dining experience. With that said the experience at the other 2 restaurants was excellent."
