The staff had a fantastically great first impression. The staff was helpful in assisting me with questions and finding things I need and store to go to. They also offered to assist me in visiting tourist attractions around the city. The hotel itself was great and within walking distance to multiple restaurants with fantastic food. I plan on returning in the future.

A comfy hotel

Hotel staffs are very friendly, caring and helpful. Location is just 500m south of Drum tower with eateries just outside the Hotel. Hotel even provides (simple) breakfast, and light dinner.

Good location and comfortable room

The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious eatery place near by the hotel. Loved the convenient location close to Muslim Quarter, Bell tower and subway Our room at top floor with a view to the eatery street, so a bit noisy, will be fine if you close the window.

Hotel is on a very crowded noisy street. Noisy inside out with car honking and restaurant loud speakers blasting almost all the time. Our room was on a high level, we switched room mid-way of our stay but still could not escape the noise. One night some hotel guests shouted late into the night. Laundry machines are not in good working condition. We were regularly pestered by a sales person in the hotel lobby trying to sell us show tickets. Overall we would not recommend this hotel for stay.

Fantastic hotel, staff, and location

Fantastic hotel. The location was great for exploring both the Muslim Quarter and the wider city. The room was very spacious and the beds were extremely comfy. The breakfast and evening food was a real bonus but a special mention goes to Anna who was lovely and helped us each day. While we had already booked tours and trips, Anna can also book those for you if you dont want to pre-plan. Xi'an is a lovely city - much more than the terracotta warriors (although these were, of course, amazing). Highly recommended - I'd definfitelt stay here again if I'm back in the area.

The hotel was very clean and staff friendly. A good sized room and bathroom. Breakfast was good with a variety of Chinese and western options. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from both the Bell and Drum towers and the main streets. I have marked this as 4* because the details clearly advertise a roof area and bar. While this was accessible there was nothing up there except a few bar stools. There was no bar and no other seating which was a real shame.
