"Ideal location for train travellers and those seeing a show at the Liverpool Empire Theatre. You are literally sandwiched inbetween. Loved the quirky decor and industrial style design. I had a room with a lovely double bed. Not much of a view on the second floor for me but it didn’t matter as I was surrounded by Liverpool City Centre. "Just around the corner from Lime Street station, the Liner Hotel is lovely and quiet. The restaurant offers a variety of meals, and the Castaway Lounge is open in the evenings. Excellent location for popping on tours (at the World Museum, 3-5 minute walk) or walking through town to the Ferry or the Cavern Club, as well as history sites. "Dixie dean was such a lovely hotel! We were arriving straight from the airport following our holiday as we had a wedding to attend in Liverpool the next day. Due to a delayed flight we didn’t arrive at the hotel until 4.30am, with two small children, but we had let the staff know in advance and they were great.
