Hotel Edison Times Square

"This is our second time at the Hotel Edison, and we will be back. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly. The location is hard to beat if you are going to Broadway shows. We really enjoyed having the vouchers for breakfast."

"Location great for times square/broadway shows, but quite a bit of traffic/people/crowds on streets, etc. Not happy about flight cancellation that rebooked me to the next day, thereby missing my first booked night at ROW -I called the ROW front desk twice on the day my flight was delayed/then cancelled - to inform them of the progressing changes in good faith in order to avoid a no show penalty of one night's stay. The ROW mgmt staff was not flexible (I have all documentation) with crediting this first night. Expedia was also not flexible or helpful with obtaining a credit for the first night's stay due to circumstances out of my control. I also contacted Expedia twice regarding rectifying the situation from their office."

"This hotel is a solid, well kept and friendly place in the mood and style of old New York Unlike a lot of the snew hotels, this one actually has real people who can talk to you and solve any problems. My room was very clean and had ample space for one person, although I know there are smaller rooms, a bit cheaper--I would spend the few extra bucks on the bigger room. The house staff doesn't pound on your door all morning if you have your "Do not disturb" sign on the door. This hotel is in a nice location and gives you a taste of the city's old classy feel."
