I was pleasantly surprised. A fine room at a reasonable price and a good breakfast.

Sandman Hotel & Suites Winnipeg Airport
The standard room with hideaway, free parking and safe quiet feeling were the strengths. Lack of free breakfast (you have to pay at the onsite Dennys) and the cloudy, towel-less, windowless pool and non-working hot tub jets were downers.

Radisson Hotel Winnipeg Downtown
Nice room and love how Starbucks is in the lobby. Also love how close this hotel is the Canadian Life Centre (CLC). Also had the sky walk so you can walk between the hotel/concert venue without going outside and getting cold. Love this hotel for concerts at CLC!

Overall. Good property. But needs some attention. Restaurants good but should look at some fresher options for dining.
