"Very much the budget option if you're going to be staying in downtown Chicago. Rooms are kinda small and the building is old. The bed was not very good, but it was okay.
Where the hotel loses points though is cleanliness. The bed sheets had visible stains on them that kinda grossed me out. Maybe I was just unlucky and got the junky sheets, but I hope that's not the norm here.
However, it's a pretty good location. Not far from the station and there's some stuff in walking distance around...
"Ive stayed at this hotel multiple times. This time was a disaster. Do not trust the staff at the front desk. I called them on Monday to say the flight was canceled and to check-in and would be there on Tuesday. Reservation was paid in full 4 months in advance. I spoke to front desk on Tuesday 5pm to see if I could extend the stay and was told they were sold out. We show up at 11pm to check-in and they canceled the reservation and had no rooms. The city was sold out. We had to pile in the...
"As a past hotel employee, I was also taught to check the picture frames to check for dust. There was a good amount of dust on the pictures. Bathroom was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Pool was great. Staff was very helpful and sweet.
Parking was weird because we paid 65 and then across the parking lot was a lot for 25$. It was a nice one night stay."
"You get what you pay for. The price of this place was good for my budget, and the location was great. however the air conditioner was loud, positioned poorly which messed up my breathing while trying to sleep, the sheers didn't block out the sun or outside evening lights, towels were cheap and would leave cotton on my face after drying it, overall not great. Looking back I should have forked out the extra money to pay for a better place."
"It's an old hotel and it shows its age. My room was clean and actually sterile looking but for a room it was clean. When I checked in and went to my room the two complimentary water bottles were empty like someone had drank them and left them in the gift bin on the desk. The window ac unit felt good in a hot day. The bathroom was lit by two weak bulbs and looked dinghy. The checkout counter staff was short and somewhat rude and lacked professionalism. It was like I was dealing with annoyed...
