"Lovely location within easy reach of Wivenhoe and colchester. Our room was in the main house so the room was period therefore furnished with old furniture which is not really to our taste. The bathroom was modern however and spotless. We tried the restaurant for dinner, unfortunately only Sunday roast menu and a few other mains.
