The beach is right across the street, along with many places around to eat. The best burritos around are at Cactus 222, located just around the corner from the hotel, and it's next to a market. Shoping is all around within walking distance. A must to visit is the Straw Market with many other shopping choices all around and all within walking distance....

"The room wasn’t a hotel. It was an apartment. The apartment had visible black mold growing on the walls and the furniture. And sheets were slept in and dirty and the mattress was dirty. The sinks also hadn’t been cleaned. "

It has a charming beach front with trees. You are away from the congested traffic, 11 minutes south from the airport and close to other beaches in the area. "The resort was decent, food was good and the beaches were stunning. Bahamas is awful, from the rip off taxis, to being harassed by vendors in Nassau, at the Fort, on the beach and Arawak Cay. We stayed there 20 years ago and the island has transformed into one gouging tourist trap. With so many other options (Dominican, Mexico, Aruba, St. Kitts) who go to this dump of an island. Nassau caters to cruise ships and has berths for 5 ships at one time. So everyone floods in for a few hours and...
