"Great hotel, but were some sound issues. As we were facing Boston Pizza, a truck backing up (with loud beeping) woke us early one morning. Next door neighbours could easily be heard through the ajoining door. Cleaning/vacuuming sounds were very noticable upstairs early one morning as well."

"Alphonso went over and beyond to give us the best experience possible. Great attention to detail. We already had breakfast plans, but the aromas were fantastic and people we saw eating were having a great experience. If you’re looking for a nice place to get away and not worry about what to eat in the morning, head over there."

"This place is a gem! It’s cleaner than clean and the staff take pride in their home. They do all the little things that make one feel welcome. I actually ended up booking an other night cause I loved it so much. Highly recommend home away from home!"

"The grossest hotel you'll ever stay at! I completely agree with the other reviewer that said you will think that you have made a wrong turn. Our "non-smoking" room must have had the sign put up the day before. The room stunk of smoke so bad it was like living im a cigarette. The view outside our window faced dumpsters and various other garbage items. Including containers full of what looked like urine. It was hot in the room and our window opened-but it had NO screen so we could not leave it...

"Just be aware there is no elevator so book on the first floor if u don’t like stairs. However, the breakfast is on the second floor so stairs to get to that."

"Steve was a gracious host. The property is lovely. The rooms are large and attractively furnished with all the amenities one could want. We had breakfast on the balcony which had a lovely view. Steve was a chef in a former life and it showed in the quality of the breakfast which was both beautifully presented and delicious. We will definitely recommend this establishment to our friends."

"The staff were very accommodating. Loved the indoor and outdoor pools. Amazing location just a few minutes to walk to the beach. Also nice to have a Starbucks and Tim Hortons right across the street. Travelled with my husband and 2 kids and would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"Excellent location, lots of parking and price point. Coffee and filtered water are complimentary, but only in the hotel lobby. For me, I'd prefer my coffee while I get ready for the day not afterward. Hot water took a long time to arrive, the water waste bothered me. I didn't get to use the pool. I would stay here again."

"Our King suite was spacious and comfortable and we loved our private large terrace with an incredible view of the park and the lake. The rooftop pool and hot tubs were excellent and again with the amazing views. We borrowed bikes to ride down the waterfront and found the location perfect for walking downtown and by the water. We will definitely stay here again!"
