Top West Kauai Technology and Visitor Center Hotel Reviews
Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu, Autograph Collection
8/10 Good
"My daughter wasn't impressed with the water pressure in the shower. Parking gets full towards the end of the day. There's not much going on past 9 pm on the island."
"Firstly, this hotel may look like a motel but cleanliness is their priority. Next, their service is impeccable. The rooms may be small but the bed is so comfortable. If you get a chance, you must take some time to visit their mini museum and schedule a tour with Uncle Ron who is so passionate about his culture and sharing knowledge about Hawaii. I learned so much and it left me a very warm fuzzy feeling of love for the people and the island. Thank you. The signage and instructions posted everywhere in the hotel and rooms are great. It is the work of a hotel manager that has lots of experience in knowing what customers need in the service industry. I was super excited to see free Kauai coffee for breakfast. This hotel is such a good value for price. Lastly, I see a lot of dedicated workers who were busy cleaning and doing maintenance on the property. I love seeing that. I love the location and the ease of walking distance to many restaurants, cafe, shops, a brewery and all. I will be back to Kauai and will not hesitate to stay here again."
"This is a cozy, quiet, rustic place to stay. There are individual cottages with kitchens and homey amenities, a pool and a sandy beach. There's also a restaurant and bar on the property with great bbq and pizzas. We spent a week here and would definitely stay again. This is not a party place or a place to bring your rowdy, bored kids."
"Very much not clear from the listing, but we were charged an additional significant amount for a cleaning fee for a 3 night stay. The cleaning fee is based on a daily rate, BUT they only clean every 3 days so we essentially paid an absurd amount for it to be cleaned after we left. Listing oversells, and under delivers. Very much paying for proximity/location and beauty of the hotel grounds. Many things mentioned on the listing are not accurate (eg no restaurant open for dinner on property)."
