"The resort was great! Great location and easy to get to. Jayne and Monica were great to take care of us, can’t say the same about the rest of the staff, we actually got up and left Kukui’s one morning because we waited for 15 minutes and was never acknowledged. Luckily there were other places off property to walk to so we really didn’t eat on property after that."
"If you’re looking for a more quiet setting that feels like home and authentic vibes with history this is the place. It is absolutely beautiful. Near so many other attractions and beaches and a perfect souvenir shop on site and just up the road 1 minute along with a grocery store making grabbing and cooking meals at the cottage easy. Pool is perfect and the grounds are meticulously maintained. Staff is so kind, friendly and helpful. Truly a vacation of a lifetime for our family and we are already planning our return visit. Perfect for families with children and with the restaurant onsite you really do have everything you need. Mahalo! Until we meet again!"
"This property was almost a dream. I stayed 6 days here. Everything from the pool, to the grounds and the rooms were immaculately kept clean and manicured. The staff is super attentive and helpful. I felt like royalty. The spa is amazing. Patti was my masseuse during my 90 minute Swedish massage. She is a gem and took extra special care of me since I had sunburn when I came in. I also did the dinner pa’ina when Red Salt hosted it. It was the best meal I had on the entire island. All of the ingredients in every dish were locally sourced. The chef came out and explained every dish. He mentioned a lot of the ingredients in the dishes were grown in his very own garden. I not only loved the food but also the company. I got a chance to meet and talk with other hotel guests at the dinner. It was very intimate and by the end of the dinner, I felt we had all became friends. I can’t rave more about a hotel on Kauai. Stay at Ko’a Kea. It’s more expensive than other hotels but it’s worth every penny."
"I have stayed here several other times. The location is great. The condos are nice. There was a policy change to only one towel per person, which is inconvenient because the place to get a new towel is open 8:30 am - 5 pm at one location in a large property, so you have to plan getting a towel into your schedule. The description was "ocean view" but since it was on the first floor, there wasn't much of an ocean view, so I was disappointed. Otherwise, the condo was in great condition, decorated nicely, and had chairs, snorkles, coolers, and boogie boards."
