"The staff were very accommodating and hospitable. We were late arriving, rang to let them know an ETA (9.30pm) and enquired if they were still serving food, they informed us that they had stopped serving food around 8 pm, but that they would cook for us on arrival, which was ideal (particularly for a family of 4, all hungry and tired)! "The hotel is in an excellent central location, just a short walk from some of the main sights you would want to see in the city. Getting around was very easy. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and genuinely lovely throughout my stay. I stayed on my own with my dog and we were given a very sweet room with a city view. The room was small but perfectly sufficient and comfortable for us. Breakfast was very good, with items selected from a menu and served quickly. The service was efficient...

"Staff were very attentive, polite and explained what needed to know, checked us in very quickly and show to our room. Room was clean and stocked with pkenty of tea, coffee etc. Bed was very comfortable and nice fresh bedding and towels, toiletries were supplied. Food in the restaurant was very nice and a good price and generous portions. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. They accommodated us by making take away breakfast boxes because we had to leave early. Typical pub/inn with typical pub food. Under new management, so they were adjusting. The location was perfect, right in town and we got there early enough to get parking on site. "
