"Lovely location, large rooms, comfortable bed. Drinks prices good with the Happy Hour and entertainment enjoyable. Curtains could with blackout linings or pull-down blinds as it was too light throughout the night at the front. Just had room-only, so unable to comment on the meals."

"Great hosts, really friendly attentive service. Lovely decor with a beech hut theme. Wonderful breakfasts. Lovely mature garden, very extoic, and I found myself sending more time in the garden than I probably should have. Clean facilities, very swanky spicy, sandlewoody shower gel/shammpoo and condition, dont bring any of your own you won't need it, and the conditioner made light work of my long fine, tangly and beechy hair. I enjoyed my stay so much here, that I feel it necessary to devote the time to compose a more comprehensive review, but I have just got back from my stay. If you are reading this, don't hesitate."

"the hotel is nicely placed near to Sandown Town centre and the beach. The hotel is large and is set in lovely grounds. Things that could be improved: - there was woodlice in our room, would be nice if these were eradicated - there is no footpath from the front of the hotel to the pavement outside the hotel. It means you have to walk along the access road to the hotel. Not nice with kids. - the breakfast is until 9am but by 845am was looking very tired. Would be good to have it properly refilled until 9am. - apart from the pool table there is nothing for children to do, this hotel is very much aimed at the retired short-break community. Overall the hotel was ok and served its purpose plus has red squirrels outside!"

"This was a lovely guesthouse, located very close (400m or so) from the cliff lift, and it was a short stroll to the old village. We were met upon our arrival by Jackie. She was very welcoming and helpful, she was amazing. The room was lovely, ours was newly decorated with a beach theme and consisted of a double room, leading onto a room with a double bed and further onto a bathroom with shower. The continental component of the breakfast had a great variety, and there was an amazing cooked breakfast also. Jackie catered for vegetarian and allergies terrifically well, my wife particularly enjoyed the vegetarian spinach and egg bake. Jackie even provided plant based spread and yoghurts for my daughter. I was really impressed that the room offered coffee bags, much better than the instant stuff, and a cafetiere was also provided alongside the breakfast. Sterling work. The provision of children's books in the room, and variety of games in the breakfast room and books for adults were also readily available. We were very appreciative of the provision of beach towels, which we put to good use at the beach. We enjoyed a terrific weekend here and would throughly recommend it to others."

"The Kenbury was a great place to stay for our family. The family room was a great space with everything we needed to settle in with an extra bonus of having a fridge in the room with fresh milk. The breakfasts were amazing. The location was brilliant as it was quiet but within walking distance to Shanklin high street and the beach isn’t far either."

"Excellent location for the seafront and old village with added convenience of parking on site. The space was perfect for my my 6 year old and I. Plenty of space in the kitchen and lounge. Big windows letting in lots of light. The mattress on the bed was some kind of magic as my daughter fidgets in her sleep but I didn't feel her moving at all!! The owners were very responsive to questions and messages prior to arrival. Would definitely stay here again."
