"It was fresh. But a complete lack of choice for breakfast considering it was over £150 per night for the room. I would expect at least something made to order! "

"A very nice place and excellent pub food. We stayed in the "annex" across the street from the pub. As they warned, the staris were steep, so those with mobility issues may have trouble. The room was large and the bathroom was good. We only requested room cleaning once during our 6-night stay. The only minor issue was it seemed the common hallways and our room floor was not vacummed. All other services were excellent. We would definitely return to the Rose & Crown."

"The room was fine and bed comfortable. Tthere were no staff to check you in or out. As a hotel I expected a restaurant and bar on site but this area was closed and no breakfast is offered either."

"It was okay to stay in. Having McDonald’s next to the place was handy haha. At the time we went, the lift was out of service which was a pain as we had a toddler and a buggy with bags. Staff were very friendly :)"

"Lovely clean room, included fridge, ironing board, iron as well as the usual things you'd expect like tea/coffee facilities, desk, TV, toiletries, hair dryer. Comfy bed. I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Would definitely stay here again "

"The hotel and facilities are absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and the rooms modern. However, we experienced multiple issues with the disorganisation of the hotel and staff. When booking the spa the online booking system didn’t work, I tried to book over the phone and was passed from staff member to staff member and put on hold multiple times.
