Our one and only complaint would be that there no scrambled eggs at breakfast, due to a construction crew arriving just before we did. Could not be helped, so we helped ourselves to waffles and biscuits and gravy.....very good! We would stay again!"

"The resort is older but very well maintained, clean and classy with a nice spa area with indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The grounds are beautiful and it's very convenient to everything in Blowing Rock and Boone. We stayed in a lake facing dog-friendly room with a balcony overlooking the pond. It was fantastic, very relaxing and we had our dog with us! The restaurants are wonder; breakfast was a real treat! We'll be back!"

"When we arrived at our room the air conditioner was going full blast and our room was freezing. Systems were down so no tv. It was very cool for this time of year and the heater in our room did not work. Bed was nice and cozy. Wasn't impressed by the concrete floors with a cut piece of carpet under the bed only. Shower pressure was low."
