"Not what I expected when I booked it, but pleasantly surprised. It’s a great set up with lovely rooms and bathrooms with underfloor heating. The common area in the main house is a great place to meet in the morning for coffee ( good machine and great coffee). Log burner with redwood logs. The staff ( Janet and Daniel) were very helpful and pleasant. I’d stay there again if passing through."

"Excellent place to stay, Chelsie and Richard were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and places to eat at, visit and tour around. Beautiful area. We stayed at the west arm room and had the best view of the lake and magnificent flower beds. We will be back to stay again real soon"

"What a beautiful little gem! Very quaint historical manor with lots of history. Rebecca the Innkeeper was so sweet. She made the stay that much more incredible. She is very kind, helpful and an amazing chef. Her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. She made us feel so at home. Will definitely return next yr. If you have the time walk up the back trails to the waterfall. Beautiful. Thanks Rebecca. Hope to see you again next yr! "
