"The reason for the terrible rating is - No meal at the Hotel so I ask the reception where I could eat, they pointed me in the direction of a local bar. Had something to eat there at 21:00hrs and by 23:00hrs I was having terrible stomach pains. (before eating at this bar I had had a continental breakfast before leaving the ship at Bilbao) By 02:00hrs diahorrea makes an appearance. "This is a fantastic place to stay, the owner is really friendly and can't do enough for you. We are veggies and he happily cooked us omelette and chips with the best salad we've ever had. The Ice cream puddings were delicious and the wine too. Fabulous Rooms, a gorgeous quirky building and a lovely lounge to sprawl in, with netflix if you wanted it on a big screen - we happily retired to the sofa without TV though. "We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Salamanca. The property was beautifully clean, very well maintained, and had a modern feel throughout. The room was extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. Its location was perfect, close enough to all the main attractions, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet for a good rest. Absolutely worth the price, and we would definitely stay here again!!!"
