"My room was too noisy to sleep"

"We booked this hotel thinking it was the other Solar Antigo down the road which we had stayed in before. When we arrived at the wrong one, the staff members greeted us and explained the mistake I'd made. Fortunately they dropped us to the right place which was only 500m further down the road - still extremely convenient for Porto Airport. The Solar Antigo Luxury hotel was excellent. "Our accommodation was perfect for the night we stayed in Matosinhos. Very clean. Miss V was so helpful and she was an amazing cook. Breakfast was wonderful and her cakes were delicious. Very helpful with suggestions and directions. Would definitely stay again!"

"Location was great, apartment tiny but doable. But, there was a mix up at check in (we were on day many of different hotels/hostels) and didn’t realize the front desk didn’t charge us upon check in. The manager knocked on our door, very obnoxiously, at 11:15 PM and was very angry. Acting as if we we were trying to swindle him and his English wasn’t good so I was very confused (I had been deep asleep)."

"This place is awesome, clean, modern and so close to the beach. Public transit is very accessible that you can be in Porto center in 35 min bus ride. Will for sure recommend this place."
