A wonderful hotel, wedged in one of those quaint little nooks that make Vienna so irresistibly charming. While the hotel feels secluded, it’s also only a few steps away from all the cheerful hustle and bustle of the city.

Perfect location and classic charm

Very nice hotel. Perfect location! Extremely pieceful and quiet but still only few steps from the heart of downtown. Vintage charm and very friendly and helpfull staff.

The location was perfect for exploring the innerstadt. The hotel is old world charm with wonderful updates. The staff are friendly, professional, efficient, and helpful. We loved our stay and would not stay anywhere else. It really was the perfect hotel for us. Everywhere we walked was less than 30 minutes away.

What a beautiful hotel with so much history. We stayed in the "Madame Rosa Suite" on the top floor. The location was very convenient, close to St. Stephen's Cathedral and many other wonderful places in Vienna.

What a beautiful hotel with so much history. We stayed in the "Madame Rosa Suite" on the sixth floor. The location was very convenient, close to St. Stephen's Cathedral and many other wonderful places in Vienna.

Great stay

Everything was amazing in this hotel. Staff is friendly, they helped us with parking (they have a big parking lot next to the hotel), the room was beautiful with a true Vienese style, breakfast in a very beautiful room full of charm. It is two minutes away from Stephansplatz.

Lovely Hotel

It was a very nice and comfortable hotel. We loved to stay there. The hotel is very good located. We stayed in the Domsuite. The only thing we missed in the room was a little fridge to put our water bottles and drinks in. Thanks to everybody at Kärtnerhof who made our stay comfortable.

This place is more than excellent. From the staff, the quietness of the place, breakfast was the best among the other hotels we've been while in Europe. I wish I can remember the names of all the staff, but Christian fr the front desk was very nice. Location is also a big plus, about 4mins walk to the St Stephen's cathedral.

Beyond the call of duty

Breakfast was great! The front desk staff were awesome as at a time when we were there the rain and wind was intense and causing many flooding problems. We couldn’t get a train or bus to our next destination of Salzburg and the hotel did there utmost best to accommodate and help us.

Walkable, convenient, spacious

This hotel was easily accessible from the train stop and very walkable to the inner city of Vienna. We were very happy with our room; it was quite spacious for three people. The breakfast options were plentiful and it was good. The staff in charge of breakfast worked very hard to keep everything stocked and clean. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Positives: great location, had 2 separate twin beds, free breakfast, cleaning lady did good job Negative: safety deposit box not working; first 2 days wifi was third world, so slow, 3rd day was better; AC control terrible. Reception said windows need to be closed for AC remote to work, most of the time it did not. Couldn’t get it to turn on. After a few complaints to reception, I was told they would turn it on remotely from the reception. You need to call reception everytime you wanted AC. Then in the middle of the night, AC would stop!

Beautiful boutique hotel, GREAT staff and location. Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was bountiful and delicious, with a beautiful room to enjoy it in. Front desk staff were very helpful to arrange transportation and to calm my nerves as I waited for delayed baggage to arrive. A wonderful stay and I will return! DEFINITELY recommend.
