"the stay was perfect , i wanted to cancel my stay when i saw the huge distance between downtown and the hotel on the mountain , but then lovely staff called raj and the best chef ever who made up my lovely stay with his great welcoming help and amazing food,very kind and helpfull i felt home !!! my room was comfortable and clean i would go again there even if the location is abit far "

"The location, facilities, pool, and restaurants on site were outstanding. I want to highlight the great work and help by the Gecko Bar staff especially Praveena and his colleagues. The housekeeping crew especially Samri were great and really made the trip enjoyable. The pool was fantastic. The pool staff was always helpful and professional. "Relaxing resort in a beautiful beach front atmosphere surrounded by mountains. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and the property is well maintained. The location is more convenient than the Four Seasons of you’re looking to explore Mahe and take a trip to La Digue and Praslin."

"Positives: Beautiful old colonial house right on the beach. The room was large and the balcony overlooked the pool and beach beyond. Honour bar for drinks was handy and breakfast was good. Beach swim-able and many restaurants close by. Good A/C Negative - low water pressure in shower which was quite small. Lovely freestanding tub was not usable - taps didn’t work properly and base leaked. Bad quite hard. Overall a good stay."

"Extremely basic accommodations, the room needed an overhaul, lights, fixtures, tv, electric outlets, clean up at the bathroom, new toilet water bowl, a paint job, new door and more. It was actually a lot worse than a basic motel 6. Beach access was excellent though. Personel (when there) very very nice and friendly."
