We had an excellent stay here. It is especially good if you like to walk as it is about 15+ minutes to the old city centre in an isolated area. But the 'house' is fantastic. It was easy to get into, all the decoration was wonderful, the breakfast room was lovely as was the room (one of the best decorated rooms I have ever had!) and we were always warmly welcomed.

Worth it!!

Me and my Boyfriend stayed here for 6 night’s, we absolutely loved it, it is owned and managed by Amy & her husband who are really lovely and helpful. Room was very clean and cosy, bed was comfortable, good AC. There dining room is really lovely and the breakfast is good. Really nice outdoor area where u can relax. We would 100% book this again and again!

Lovely hotel and great if you bring a dog!

Wonderful place! Small and a boutique type of place. Spacious rooms and very clean. Amy the hostess and her husband are lovely people that make the stay more genuine and special. Home made baking for breakfast. Easy walk down town. We brought or dog and it worked perfectly.

The best place to stay. Not to far from town.

Wow wow wow.The hotel is like a stately home. The hostess was so welcoming and friendly. And helpful and made our stay amazing. The room was clean and tidy. And was well maintained. Fresh towel every day. The breakfast was a travellers dream. There was something for everyone. With fresh coffee.

The hosts were both delightful very proud of their residence (rightly so). Robert explained how to get in and out gates and door and provided map and details of where to go to reach Verona’s walled city (10-12 minute walk) including tree lined street with stunningly beautiful residences. His charming wife prepared a delicious homemade breakfast including her own jams and condiments and for those with sweet tooth a range of freshly baked cakes to compliment the usual breakfast cold cuts, fruits and cereals. Great option for those with a car as easy parking.

We loved our 4 night stay with Ami & Roberto. Ami was such a lovely, welcoming host. She takes great pride in her property and it shows in the stunning furnishings, garden areas, breakfast balcony and private rooms and public areas. She helped us with anything we needed and was very obliging. Her home cooked breakfast was sumptuous! It was to die for! There was so many choices of delicious foods to choose from. We will certainly miss her yummy breakfasts. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes that home touch and peaceful surroundings! The property is a little out of the town centre but if you have a car or don’t mind a 15 min walk, it’s fine!

Such a warm and inviting welcome to her home. Lovely property with many outdoor places to sit. We were given the choice between two rooms upon arrival. Great location to walk into the city and convenient to park your car for free right outside. Will definitely stay here when we come back to Verona and highly recommend for anyone. Beds were really comfortable. Can't say enough good things about the host, property, location!

Good breakfast

The breakfast is really good. The accommodation was a little bit shabby and tired and the garden with a little bit overgrown - however overall the experience was good. We had some difficulty checking in because the instructions are a bit complicated and not very well phrased. We had the owner on the phone who was clearly upstairs, we could hear us speaking to us but didn’t, come down to help us. We were tired and had a baby and could’ve done with some assistance in checking in but that was the only real strange thing about it!

Vi ankom til huset, der som det første ikke har en reception som oplyst i beskrivelsen. Vi var i chok over haven og det vi troede var en pool - ALT er nedslidt og tilgroet og ikke brugbar som afslapning efter en varm dag i storbyen. Søm stikker ud af havestole og der er ikke rørt en finger i mange år. Haven er mørk og fyldt med insekter. Huset er mørkt og skummelt og værtinden vil på ingen måde modtage kritik og nedslag i prisen men gerne overfuse os ved morgenmaden dagen efter. Der er ikke en brøkdel af alle de faciliteter der er nævnt i beskriivelsen, såsom tagterrasse, butikscenter, mødelokale osv. Vi giver 1 ⭐️ for morgenmaden var god.

En vakker perle i Verona

Noen ganger er man så heldig at man finner en perle og det gjorde vi virkelig denne gangen. Et aldeles nydelig lite hotell, men en fantastisk vert som heter Emi. Ikke mange rom, men det gjør at opplevelsen og oppholdet ble personlig, med en utsøkt service fra Emi. Hjemmelaget frokost med bakevarer, oster, kjøtt, ferskpresset juice, det meste fra Emi’s eget kjøkken. Under den første frokosten tok hun seg tid til å guide oss gjennom Verona på kart så vi kunne finne byens severdigheter. Rommet var romslig og vakkert, roomservice hver dag, rent og rett og slett utsøkt! Neste gang vi kommer til Verona skal vi definitivt bo her igjen! Beliggenheten var ca 15 minutters spasertur med til bykjernen og det var en fin tur både på dagtid pg kveldstid. Skal dere booke restaurant i byen anbefales Antica Bottega del Vini!
