"On the whole defo 5*! Great location and views. Very friendly staff. Has Indoor swimming pool and we had Breakfast included. Has a bar / lounge area and a welcome feel. Will mention rooms and hotel are a bit dated and onsite parking but limited. But I don’t think they pretend to be a modern hotel. "

The bathroom was tiled top to toe and the shower excellent. This is a good pub with accommodation above and good pub food. "Brilliant two nights at The Fig Tree Shanklin. Highly Recommend! First evening, after Dinner at The Steamer Inn down on the Shanklin Esplanade, we caught the lift back up from the Esplanade and walked to The Fig Tree to experience their Monday Open Mic Night which was good fun and we were given accompaniment instruments to join in the funas well as singing along. "We enjoyed our three night stay at The Brunswick Hotel very much. We had two rooms for five of us. We particularly enjoyed the dining room with its beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast was included and the choices were delicious. In the evening the Billiard Room was a comfortable place to have a drink and review the day. We also thought the Sunday Roast was outstanding. "We have stayed here before and again got a family room for 3 nights. This one was better than the last one. We did not stay here for breakfast and went to Morrisons instead. There is limited parking at the hotel and overnight parking on the roads available. Ok if you’re off out for the day, they supply towels and a little bar of soap each. You need to supply shampoo etc. very friendly staff"
