"Great hotel overall. The amenities were great; there is a pool, common kitchen with gas stovetop, common eating area, lounge chairs, mini fridge in room and places to relax. There was a hole in our door which let in some insects and ants. The wifi was patchy in out room, but that could have been because we were the farthest room from the main office. There was a great restaurant next door with friendly staff. Unfortunately the mini-mart close by didn't have many food options."

"If you’re going for the views & the pool - it’s a great hotel. With that said the rooms need a full renovation. The AC leaks, the bathroom is very run down and the room has no furniture (other than a bed). The rooms are not great. Also - locals crash the pool (especially at sun set) and the hotel doesn’t do anything about it - making chairs sometimes hard to get. The AM breakfast was good though. "

"Very nice boutique hotel right on the beach. Quiet location located next to Tamarindo Diria. We had a drink there after dinner. Clean, very helpful staff at Perla. The pool use and breakfast at their sister resort is part of the booking. It was beautiful and the breakfast was excellent. Parking is also at the sister resort. Highly recommend Perla!"

"They throw a raging party on Friday nights, which is not made clear up upon booking only upon check-in. The party is ridiculously loud. You cannot sleep with the noise or the vibration of the room due to the loud music that goes until 2:30 in the morning. Completely unacceptable for a hotel. It is not a nightclub. It is a place where people go to try to get peace and sleep."
