"We enjoyed our one-night stay at Brown’s Canyon Inn. Mark (the owner) was very personable and helpful. It was easy to see he takes a great deal of pride in his Inn. The decor was very thoughtful in the lobby and rooms. Breakfast was very nice and Mark was overseeing everything. Room was very quiet and convenient to our next destination—west to Curecanti NRA and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. A beautiful drive! Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area!"

"Amazing!! What a sweet throw back motel experience with all the modern convenience's!! From the time you check in it’s welcoming and friendly! Clean and updated, comfortable beds, nice little bathroom with good shower and soft towels!! Nice touches like free candy selection at front counter and even have a separate little snack room with ice and water, coffee, tea, microwave and little free breakfast treats! Just an amazing little place, …great feel and so different than just a normal chain hotel…truly an experience!! Will be back anytime I stay in Salida!"

"The hotel clerk was very nice. The hotel room was clean. This is an older hotel. We were just driving through and got in late in the evening and left early in the morning. The bathroom window would not close, thankfully it was one that opens from the top and we were on the second floor. We had comfortable beds and cold AC so we were fine. I will say it was not a horrible experience. The room was decorated cute."

"I got to step inside on older airstream. That was the experience I wanted. Surprisingly spacious and cool on a warm summer night, though it did rain that evening, which was wonderful to listen to as hit the hull. I had one window opened a crack and it was perfect. Secure, bed was comfortable and clean. There was a mini fridge to put drinks in for the road trip. I however, missed the bit about no bathroom in the airstream, so that was a little adjustment, shared bathroom is locked by code and then the two rooms, super clean and nice, also lockable for those moments. Staff was friendly."

"A great place to stay. we appreciate the parking lot as it accommodates our trailer when we are traveling for a festival in Salida. The breakfast has good choices. rooms are clean and beds are comfortable."
