"Not sure how Expedia rated this at 2 stars. The “Inn” is misleading, as it is a motel, with room doors opening to the parking lot, which faces busy state highway.
I could not accurately assess the cleanliness of the room as it was very very dark, with poor lighting. The bathroom was clean, and lighting was acceptable once the fan/heating element was turned on. The bed was uncomfortably soft with scratchy, threadbare linens and lumpy pillows. The door and walls had scratching and bare spots. The only positive I can add is the friendly front desk staff."
"The onsen was really nice especially if your planning to drive a bit or go hiking. It really helped relax me and my mom after a long day.
Sadly their outdoor bath was closed. The indoor bath was clean and had showers to wash before getting into the onsen, but I think a staff member should explain to people how to use an onsen properly. There are signs to explain what to do, but not everyone pays attention.
The hotel doesnt provide yukata, or slippers so bring a cover up, if you dont wanna buy some at their gift shop.
I hope in the future they will provide those for free and charge you if its not returned.
I have been to japan before and those are usually automatically given to you, or at least a robe.
Also there is no storage drawers, only a clothing rack in the rooms. I typically live out of a suit case which was fine for me, but for my mom it was a bit inconvenient for her. Room service cleaned our room but left the coffee station in our room empty with no cups or coffee/creamer and didnt clean it that well.
But reception quickly took care of us, and provided what we needed.
The restaurants there is really great. Food was delicious. Please dont change that.
Rooms were cozy, bed was comfy. Hotel is fairly new so I hope they keep growing and improving. I would stay here again but maybe after some time to grow more, and have that outdoor bath ready."
"Great stay again! Every staff member was friendly to me and my family. The breakfast was decent, the bar was great, the room was perfect, and the location was close to everything we needed. Pool, hot tub and gym were all clean and ready to use. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"
"We had two kids with us and needed to use the sofa bed in the room, however there were no extra blankets or bedsheets provided. We had to go down to the front desk to get them, and were initially told there were no pillows available either. After speaking with the staff member (who was very nice), she was able to find two pillows for my kids to sleep with for the night. I appreciate her help, but I’ve never had to experience this at any hotel before. The breakfast was quite basic (some ppl were told no more paper plates( and the pool also seemed a bit unclean. Overall, the staff was friendly and tried their best, but the experience was just okay."
"The staff (Marcus) not courteous. When I asked him about how to get a receipt, he say he has nothing to answer because we booked through Expedia, then I questioned why and he said that he can refuse us to stay there and can cancel our room. Very rude!"
