Hotel Edison Times Square
10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely art deco period hotel close to Times Square and in Theater District! I stayed here 30 years ago and this stay with my adult daughter was memorable! Take and go breakfast was okay, but sit down in either dining room for $6.25 was great! We had a king room and completely satisfied with amenities! Can’t wait for our next visit!"
"The hotel reminds me of the Overlook Hotel in The Shining with the old carpet, elevator and accents. That being said, the room and bathroom are charming on their own.
During our stay, our AC unfortunately broke down at 11:30 PM. The staff happily moved us from 3rd to 10th flr and it was the best room!!! It had 2 windows and more real estate.
Staff were excellent. The neighborhood is so quiet and a perfect mix of tourists and locals.
Food from Nice Matin was delicious (get the package if you can).
i would rebook this hotel again next time I’m in NYC. "
"The hotel is amazing as atmosphere I really enjoyed it and you look perfect with the location if you want to travel to the side of Manhattan and the lower side
"
"Great location in walking distance to Times Square and there’s a subway at the hotel. Great rooms and central to most attractions in Manhattan. Next door to the Summit and Chrysler Buildings. "
"Loved this hotel!! Great location for Central Park and the subway main line!! Close to Trader Joe’s and Starbucks!! Excellent restaurants nearby!! Staff made excellent suggestions!!! "
