Samhita Garden was a very pleasant stay with beautiful, peaceful garden settings. Staff was very professional and friendly. The location is perfectly centralized to explore many sites by walking. I highly recommend this property and am looking forward to returning soon.

A tranquil hideaway in gorgeous garden setting. Easy walk to main area with lots of eating options within reach. Noisy band nearby can disturb sleep though stops around 11pm Wasn’t aware of the flight of steps within the room

Worst hotel I can remember to have visited!

This place was unbelievable! Except the friendly staff there is absolutely nothing positive about this place. Firstly there is a bar across the road literally next door that has live LOUD music (read rock concert) every night to 11 pm. So forget about sleeping until after 11. The hotel is very worn down and lacks proper maintenance. The rooms/bungalows smells moisture and mold everywhere. Breakfast is cozy but very very simple. Pool is ok. We were a family of four with to children of 10 and 12. we booked the family suite and were given a bungalow with one king size bed and one portable bed! I mean come on! The minimum expected would be two double beds. When they change us for four adults! This means if you for some reason book four grownup persons for a trip, three would have to sleep together! And the worst thing was that it wasn’t a cheep hotel either!! So for the sake of humanity pay some extra and stay at a proper resort/hotell.

Easy walking distance to central Ubud

Great value. Villa was large and relaxed. Pool was fine. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. Its a pretty little place close to everything you want in Ubud. Maybe too close as there was noise at night from bars nearby.

We had 4 nights here, great position, very quiet once off the street, beautiful gardens, breakfast sufficient and if you don’t like Balinese coffee great little cafe next door you can grab a cappuccino to have with your brekkie, convenience store right accross from entrance and sone good restaurants very close by. Though the Villa is nice with a nice pool and gardens, the shower in my room was pretty awful. Very old looking shower with no water pressure at all. If you are looking for a power shower, this is not the villa you would chose. Staffs are so friendly.

Samhita Garden Ubud is a precious gem, a step back in time oasis only 300 metres to Ubud’s old palace (in the centre of town). Surrounded by restaurants, shops and galleries you can easily walk to the Monkey Forest and Art Market. Samhita is traditional in style - large rooms and suites which have been kept clean and well maintained. A simple but adequate breakfast is served every morning. The garden and quiet ambiance remind me of the best Bali offers a traveller. Genuine hospitality, a peaceful location and warm friendly Balinese staff. If you want an extremely well priced hotel with gorgeous gardens and comfortable private rooms then you will live Samhita Garden Ubud. We came for 3 nights but so wish we had been able to stay a week or two… maybe not now but we will be back later this year. Great for singles, couples or family groups looking for a traditional and authentic Bali hotel experience. Truly is an oasis in Ubud’s chaos.

Dejligt sted

Sådan et dejligt sted med den smukkeste udsigt fra altanen udover haven med fineste blomsterbuske og træer. Vi boede på et af de øverste værelser og elskede at gå ud på altanen om morgenen og drikke morgenkaffen. Badeværelserne var lidt slidte, men kæmpestore og funktionelle og det havde ingen betydning for vores oplevelse af stedet. Placeringen tilmed er genial fordi den er på en mere stille sidegade men alligevel tæt på den pulserende hovedgade. Vi ville elske at komme tilbage!

Séjour centre Ubud

3 jours dans une villa au calme avec piscine privée, tout était parfait. Piscine assez grande au soleil, équipement chambre parfait, literie de qualité. Un seul bémol sur notre séjour un petit déjeuner répétitif ; un choix supplémentaire au niveau des plats salés serait le bienvenue.

Gemengde gevoelens bij dit hotel. Bij aankomst was de kamer nog niet gereed, we kregen te horen dat het nog een uur ging duren, 30 minuten na check-in tijd, hetgeen ik niet oké vind aangezien dit al pas om 14 uur 's middags was. Het terrein en het zwembad zijn prachtig, alles wat je van Bali verwacht. De bungalows zien er van buiten ook prachtig uit. Het was erg rustig overdag, we hadden het zwembad vaak voor ons alleen. We verbleven in bungalow nummer 15, met een groot tweepersoons bed en een twijfelaar voor onze dochter. De ruimte is ruim opgezet en je hebt een aparte ruimte met de wasbak, flink veel kasttruimte, gratis kluisje en minibar. Badkamer en wc waren verouderd. Wat we vervelend vonden was dat de douche op Indonesische maten was ingesteld, dus als je groter dan 1m70 bent, sta je niet onder, maar naast de douche, hetgeen behelpen is en onnodig hadden ze de stang hoger opgehangen. Wat we echt een afknapper vonden, was dat er grote schimmelachtige vlekken op de achtermuur zaten, waarschijnlijk als gevolg van lekkage vanuit de airco. Onbegrijpelijk dat dit niet even schoon gemaakt of desnoods overgeschilderd is. Het verpestte echt het aanzicht van onze kamer. Wat voor ons echter echt een afknapper was en waarom we de volgende keer in Ubud voor een ander hotel zullen kiezen was de enorme geluidsoverlast elke avond (di-za) van 20-23 uur van de live muziek van de tegenovergelegen bar. Het was echt heel hard en heel slecht, hetgeen het 's avonds buiten zitten verpest
