"My daughter and I had an absolutely terrible experience staying at this La Quinta. From the moment we walked in, the room smelled strongly like an ashtray, which made it very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, we never had proper hot water—at best it was only lukewarm the entire stay. The room itself had several maintenance issues. The vanity light didn’t work, forcing us to rely on the shower light just to see. Housekeeping was also nonexistent. No one came to clean the room, empty the trash, replace towels, or make the beds during our stay. I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk, but nothing was done to resolve them. On top of everything else, the bathtub had questionable stains that were very concerning. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. We will never stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone."

"This building is old, BUT they did a good job of remodeling it to this new Spark by Hilton brand. Sometimes when hotel properties change ownership and get remodeled, you still see old tile in part of the bathroom or bad remodel jobs that you can see at the edges and corners of rooms or with the flooring, etc. Many remodels are only half-done. You can also often still smell the old hotel. However, this one was re-done nicely with EVERYTHING all new in the rooms, and most other parts of the property. This is the way remodels SHOULD be done. It still has low ceilings and narrow hallways like older buildings do, but it was still done as nice as you can do with an older building. Breakfast was pretty decent considering the level of hotel this is. My only main complaint is that the room doors have the automatic doors that SLAM hard and loud. Too many guests don't have consideration of others at 5am or 11pm and just let the doors SLAM LOUDLY. It even shakes your room and windows and you can NOT help but wake up from it. It's not really the hotel's fault completely, but they COULD change the doors."

"Great stay! It’s very unassuming Marriott in an industrial area but once inside the decor is beautiful. The pool is great and they are beautiful walking biking hiking trails right behind the pool. There are also outdoor games accessible for Guests. The staff was also very accommodating and kind. There’s a restaurant bar on site also, so you don’t have to leave the area if you need food. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing very much like a buffet at any budget hotel. The location at this hotel is also in a great spot less than 30 minutes away from so many beautiful things to see, and easily access accessible Uber rides. And, if you’re into Trader Joe’s, it’s a six minute Uber right away! I highly recommend this property, it was a nice surprise!!"
