"We booked a room here and arrived to find that the bathroom and shower are fully outside, open to the elements. This is not something that is made clear in the listing where it should be — upfront, before you book. We had no choice but to leave and book another place at our own expense. Looking at other reviews, we are clearly not alone. This keeps happening to guests, and the owner shows no interest in fixing the actual problem — which is the listing. Instead, when guests complain, out come the deflections: “we were upfront,” “you chose this room,” “we sent an email.” An email buried after booking is not being upfront. Being upfront means making it impossible to miss BEFORE someone hands over their money. The owner knows this. Using phrases like “you chose” to avoid accountability for a misleading listing is a cheap trick. It is disappointing to see an owner fall this low rather than simply fix the description and treat guests with honesty. The only good thing you’ll get to do at this place is, leave."
