"Floor in the room wasn’t clean, no shampoo in the bathroom, hallway smelled pretty bad. Would never stay here again. "

"Room had a non working tv that was lying on the dresser. The dresser had non working drawers. There wasn’t even a trash can in the room. Water pressure was poor and freeway noise was substantial. I tried on multiple occasions to talk with front desk staff but door was locked and night service bell non operational. This was not at odd hours 8:30 am and 6:30 pm. The hotel was also used to house homeless and I did not feel safe going to and from my room. I would not recommend this hotel, except for the price. "

"Nice staff, clean rooms and convenient location to Carlsbad Village at an affordable price. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from outside as well as the rooms above and next to the room you’re staying in. However, we enjoyed our stay overall. One suggestion would be to add hooks or a metal bar to hang towels in the bathroom. "

"Don’t stay here unless it’s your very last choice. The hotel is so gross and dirty. I guess you get what you pay for. The drains are full of hair and idk what. Stains all over the “clean sheets”. You can tell they don’t wipe or disinfect anything. Cobwebs and dust all over. Hallways smell crazy. And don’t even get me started on the fridge in the room. Ughh it’s so nasty. I wouldn’t have stayed if I didn’t book in advance and didn’t pay for the protection to get reimbursed, never making that mistake again. "
