"Superb location near Haytor on Dartmoor. Very comfortable bed, friendly helpful staff. Lovely views over the garden and surrounding area from the restaurant.
Excellent food in the restaurant but it was pricey.
Excellent tasteful decor in the lounge which matched the moorland area very well.

"Our stay at the Cridford Inn was absolutely fantastic. From the room, the staff, the restaurant (we tried the medieval recipes and they were great), the bar and the fabulous breakfast. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The area offers a vast number of walks on the beautiful Moor. "

"Excellent hotel,room was beautiful with garden terrace. Breakfast was very good especially the omelette thats a must.nothing was too much trouble. The hosts where lovely. Attention to detail, comfortable bed and room in general with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Great location 5 minutes walk from Torre railway station and 15 minutes walk from seafront and town.
Easy drive to local towns like Brixham, Dawlish, Teignmouth and about 45 mins to Plymouth.
I'd stay here again definitely. "
"The staff were wonderful, and the location can't be beat. We unwound each night with a half-pint on the beautiful terrace that is set along the riverbank. The building is a lovely old hodge-podge of levels. We were at the top of it, which involves a stairs-climb that could be hard for some. There is ample parking (very welcome!).
