"We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. It was a charming and quiet location in the Normandy region. We were able to travel to the various historical attractions in the area easily without having to stay in the heart of a city. Our room was very spacious, including the bathroom, and clean. The hosts at the B&B were very kind and considerate. And, the best part was the delicious and fresh breakfast every morning. "

"We were on a bit of a road trip in France and had decided to spend a couple of days in Normandy after coming off the ferry. Easy to find and well located for the WW2 historical sites in the area. The hotel is lovely and the hosts could not be more accommodating (e.g. we got an early checkin). The breakfasts were excellent and we had an evening meal there as well - again excellent. The room was clean and had a nice bathroom with a separate toilet."

"This is the second time we’ve stayed here when travelling on the Caen ferry and arriving late, and it was lovely. The family rooms are very comfortable and uniquely decorated. Buffet breakfast is easy and quick. There’s a lovely garden for the kids to run around "

"Phew where to start: no lift, room smelt like sewer gas. The carpet was stained. The toilet seat didn't fit properly, the shower took ages to get warm. "

"Right next to the port. Really clean rooms, particularly the bathrooms. Very helpful. Stayed one night after getting off the late ferry from Portsmouth. I had a problem with my car getting off the ferry. I had to hire a car for my onward journey. The hotel let me use their car park (which was secure and safe - Gated) to store my car until I came back to catch the ferry a few days later. They arranged a taxi for me to the airport to pick up the hire car. I cannot thank them enough for letting me...

"Really enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent. Clean and tidy. The hotel is well placed between Ouistreham and Caen making it ideal for visiting the local area. Shops are conveniently situated neaby. Would totally recommend this hotel. "

"The staff at the Brit were extremely welcoming and the hotel room was clean and comfortable. Disappointed we were not able to have a hot drink in the room. Despite there being a kettle and tea/coffee they only provided small shot glasses for drinks which was extremely odd! There was also no fridge in the room which we needed to keep milk for our baby. "

"No elevator, usually it says in the description of the property, they left that out. Showers were very small, and bed was lumpy. Breakfast was skimpy, but at least they had fresh squeezed orange juice, but it wasn’t worth what they charged."
