The breakfast buffet was great and had a variety of selections. It was only a 20 min drive to Seaworld and there were lots of places to visit and eat nearby. La Jolla was also only about 10 mins away. Highly recommend!"

"An excellent place to stay in the La Jolla area...beautiful grounds, like a jungle oasis in the middle of the town. Great pool & hot tub, gym, very nice rooms and excellent little lobby bar/dining room. Walking distance to shopping next door so you can park the car and forget it. Will definitely stay again, a very pleasant surprise."

"This property works out great for us when we visit Del Mar. It offers easy access to the freeway and is a reasonable distance from Torrey Pines State Park and the Pacific Ocean beach. The generous full breakfast offered as part of the booking is a real plus. The staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly and eager for your stay to be enjoyable. Parking in the underground garage costs extra, but is worthwhile as on-street parking is limited. "

"I hope to stay at this BW Del Mar again sometime. I had my dinner and breakfast at the cafe. I enjoyed the free coffee in the morning. I was traveling alone and felt safe. It's located close to Torrey Pines State Park and several nice eateries. Also, there's a short walk to the beach."
