The trip was excellent.We attended a concert and I treated my mom to the gold room. However, I booked their hotels.com and then the fair amount when checking in.They charged me again for the room. Which i'm waiting for the money back. Not sure why this happened and hopefully it gets resolved this week. Other than not the hotel is one of my favorites.

Great Accommodation

We stayed overnight for my spouses birthday. The satff was friendly and reponsive. The room was large, clean, and was exactly as advertised. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a premium accommodation.

Gold worth the extra cost

Staff was excellent. Special mention to Alexis in the Gold Lounge for arranging to print multiple documents for a follow on trip. Lounge was excellent with lots of snacks and drinks.

The Gold experience was well worth the price. Beautiful large room with great view of the CN Tower. The Gold Lounge is the best club lounge we have experienced. Entire staff waa very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Our every need was taken care of quickly. Restaurants and lounges are excellent. We will definitely be back!

We had a great experience! The Fairmont Gold option gave us access to a private lounge which included breakfast, hor duorves, and dessert. This also included free non-acholoic drinks all day long. The room itself was so nice, clean, and well-maintained. Staff was polite and the hotel clientelle were all very respectible.

Probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The Gold experience is a definite must for future reservations. It was so convenient for traveling by train and seeing a show. Staff were very courteous and helpful, even when my room was not ready until 4:30pm. We were offered a free cocktail, which was perfect for after the show. Fabulous getaway!

Booked the Royal Gold experience as a Christmas gift to ourselves. It was worth every penny. The ambiance, the facilities, the special lounge exclusively for Royal Gold clients. It was all lovely. Breakfast Was included, as well as afternoon tea, evening canapés and evening desert. There were also other bar and dining options but we never felt it necessary to partake of them. Plus, all of downtown Toronto’s attractions are literally right outside the door.

We stayed in a Fairmont Gold Suite. The suite was immaculate and spacious with a view of the lake, train station, towering skyscrapers and CN Tower. The selections for breakfast and the evening canapés are extensive and delicious. The lounge is a beautiful area to relax or visit with friends. Fairmont Gold Manager Louise and her team are welcoming and attentive. We can't wait to return. Thanks for another great stay.

Royal York truly a "royal" experience

This was my first stay at the Royal York and I am blown away by my experience. The hotel definitely lives up to its reputation. Staying on a Gold floor definitely added another level of luxury . The suite was outfitted with anything I could have possibly expected and more . The 18th floor lounge offers wonderful food and drink selections . The staff were helpful and very attentive . Not cheap but for a special occasion such as my 60th birthday, well worth the indulgence !

I’ve enjoyed the gold experience previously. Found it a relaxed get away. This visit the lounge was a busy place with business phone calls , conference calls etc. lots of voices. At breakfast all tables were occupied because many were lingering over business calls - we had to eat slumped at a couch. Good problems to have I know but I think I will try a different experience next time in Toronto.
